Take another peek into the movieverse with more Seattle International Film Festival titles just announced including a baroque puppet animation wuxia epic, heartfelt drama starring Penelope Cruz, special screening in honor of longtime Seattle Times critic John Hartl, and more.
Passes are on sale now and individual tickets go on sale to SIFF Members on April 26 and to the general public on April 27. The Festival takes place in person May 11–21 at venues across Seattle, followed by a week of select films streaming on the SIFF Channel May 22–28.

International megastar Penelope Cruz (Parallel Mothers) leads this heartfelt, semiautobiographical drama (the first film in 11 years from acclaimed filmmaker Emanuele Crialese) as the mother of a gender-questioning young teenager amidst the shifting social landscape of 1970s Rome.
