Director Matthew Heineman attended the SIFF 2017 screening of his new documentary City of Ghosts and participated in a post-film Q&A session. City of Ghosts presents an eyewitness chronicle of RBSS, the group of anonymous activists risking their lives to document the ravaging of their native city of Raqqa, Syria, by ISIS. Heineman's previous Oscar-nominated documentary Cartel Land screened at SIFF 2015.
