Film Screening, Q&A, and Reception!
As international aid declines, it’s more important than ever to uplift the voices of frontline communities and explore ways to take action together. Enjoy a screening of Force of Water, followed by a Q&A and reception with the film’s director and Green Empowerment's executive director.
SIFF year-round passes and vouchers are not valid for this event.
Around the world, communities on the front lines of climate change are stepping up to solve the water crisis. Force of Water follows two such communities—one in Ecuador and one in Uganda—as they take on the monumental task of building their own piped water systems. Their journey is one of resilience, determination, and grassroots action.
Engage in a dynamic discussion with Green Empowerment Executive Director, Andrea Johnson and Film Director, Nathan Johnson (no relation) and stay for a networking reception with Ecuadorian tapas from Seattle’s own, Bad Chancla!
- Running Time: 110 min.
