A powerful exploration of the rising crisis of senior homelessness in Portland, Oregon, uncovering the systemic challenges and deeply personal stories of those unexpectedly finding themselves with no place to call home. Many of Portland’s challenges are mirrored in Seattle, which makes this an empathetic starting point for our panel of experts to turn the film’s emotions into attendees’ actions. Q&A with a panel of experts following the screening.

No Place To Grow Old is a powerful exploration of the rising crisis of senior homelessness in Portland, Oregon, uncovering the systemic challenges and deeply personal stories of those unexpectedly finding themselves with no place to call home. The Seattle Premiere, hosted by the Housing Development Consortium of Seattle-King County and partners, will begin with a live introduction by director Davey Schaupp and producer Michael Larson.
Many of Portland’s challenges are mirrored in Seattle, which makes this an empathetic starting point for a conversation on local housing and homelessness challenges. In order to move us from emotions to actions, a brief Q&A with a panel of experts will highlight their advocacy goals and hope for the future.
