We welcome guests to arrive at 5:00 pm to enjoy an Expo with supporting and local brands prior to the feature length film on Cocodona 250 featuring local athlete, Golden Ticket Winner in this year's Black Canyon 100k, Joe McConaughy. Following the film will be a Meet and Greet Q&A session with Joe and other prominent people in the community.

The Chase is a riveting feature length film that takes you deep into the 2024 Cocodona 250, a grueling 250-mile ultramarathon through Arizona's breathtaking and punishing terrain. The film follows five elite athletes as they push their limits in a relentless pursuit of victory and the elusive course record. Local runner, third place finisher and Golden Ticket Winner of 2025 Black Canyon 100k, Joe McConaughy, is a lead athlete in our film.
Each runner's story unfolds with raw emotion, showcasing their strategies, setbacks, and triumphs as they navigate rugged mountains, searing desert heat, and their own inner battles. Blending stunning cinematography with intimate storytelling, The Chase captures the essence of competition, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of endurance athletes in one of the world’s toughest races.
