Eden and her brother, Nati, have shared an unusual bond ever since their parents’ divorce, when they made a pact that their relationship with each other would always come first. They even have a secret plan to run away to Paris and make movies together. So Nati’s sudden death on the night of his 17th birthday hits Eden terribly hard.
Bereft, she tries to hold on to her brother as best she can, hanging out in his room, wearing his clothes, and looking at his social media posts. And this is how she makes a startling discovery: Nati had a secret girlfriend. Eden immediately sets out to find this girlfriend, Maya. She is both unnerved at the fact that Nati hid this part of his life from her and threatened by the prospect of someone whose grief may rival her own. But as Eden and Maya get to know one another, their shared loss draws them even closer, and they embark on an intense and intimate relationship of their own.
