Take a private trip to the cinema with SIFF’s Secret Festival. Secret Fest is a confidential cinematic excursion that requires each viewer to sign an NDA prior to attending. Screenings might be rare archival finds or unofficial debuts, international films, hyper-local documentaries, or anything in between!

Secret Fest first snuck on the scene in 1983, with the film [REDACTED]. In a year when regularly priced tickets went for $4.50, SIFF organizers sold Secret Fest tickets for just a single dollar to test the waters on this brand-new program. It was a total hit, and Secret Fest has since become a gem of the Seattle film scene.

Catch this year’s Secret Fest screenings on the two Sundays of the Festival, May 18 and 25, at 11:00am sharp! As the 1983 SIFF catalog put it, “IF YOU’RE SMART, YOU’LL SHOW UP.”
