SEATTLE – The 51st Seattle International Film Festival will close with A24’s Sorry, Baby on Saturday, May 24, at SIFF Cinema Downtown with director, writer, and star Eva Victor in attendance. Following the film is the Closing Night Party at the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) to celebrate the culmination of the Festival.
Eva Victor (“Billions”) writes, directs, and stars in this nonlinear, seriocomic story about a melancholic English professor’s complicated path toward healing in the aftermath of a tragedy. Through each hop through time, we follow Agnes as she experiences the unexpectedly transformational powers of the cuddly creatures found along the way, be it dear friends, surprisingly sensitive sandwich vendors, an abandoned kitten, or a sweet neighbor. This aching and tender debut premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival where it received the Waldo Salt Screening Award.
After the film, head to MOHAI for the Closing Night Party to enjoy complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres, dance to DJ Paco’s beats, and capture the moment at our themed photo booth. Tickets for the Closing Night Film and Party are available now online at siff.net/passes and in person at SIFF Cinema box offices and are $78.00 for SIFF members and $88.00 for the general public. Closing Night Party-Only tickets are also available for $47.00 for SIFF members and $52.00 for the general public.
