SIFF’s weeklong Italian film festival returns for its 16th year, showcasing a striking lineup of 15 films
SEATTLE – Cinema Italian Style returns to SIFF Cinema Uptown November 7-14 to celebrate the best in Italian cinema with a broad selection of 15 films to celebrate its 16th year. Tickets for the festival, a celebration of the best Italian films of the year, are on sale now.
“Cinema Italian Style is one of SIFF’s most beloved annual events, and we’re so grateful for the partners and patrons that return year after year for this celebration of Italian cinema” says SIFF’s Associate Director of Festival Programming, Stan Shields, “this year’s lineup of films is captivating, heartbreaking, funny, inspiring, and we can’t wait to bring them to our Seattle audiences.”
The 2024 lineup includes Venice Film Festival Grand Jury prize winner and Italy’s Official 2025 Academy Awards® Submission for International Feature, Vermiglio; Rome Film Festival’s Best Actress Award Winner Alba Rohrwacher in In the Mirror; a new 4k restoration of Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1957 politically trenchant film Il Grido; and more from the best of Italian’s filmmakers.
Cinema Italian Style passholders are invited to join SIFF after the opening night screening of There's Still Tomorrow at the 2024 Cinema Italian Style Opening Night Party on Thursday, November 7 at 8:30 PM at the KEXP Gathering Space. The festivities will feature a DJ Set by Cinema Italian Style Programmer Angelo Acerbi, bites from Tutta Bella and beverages provided by Togroni and Esquin Wines.
Passes for the event are on sale for $100 for SIFF members and $125 for non-members. Tickets for individual in-person screenings and select virtual screenings are $9 for SIFF members (on sale October 15) and $14 for non-members (on sale October 17).
Be one of the first 150 pass purchasers and get one free 13” pizza from Tutta Bella. Passes include admission to all Cinema Italian Style screenings, plus admission to the Opening Night party.
