Radical Films: Week 4

From the streets of Paris and London to the South Seas, this week we will look at films from the ‘80s and ‘90s that revealed the lives of marginalized people—specifically, My Beautiful Laundrette (Stephen Frears, 1985), Once Were Warriors (Lee Tamahor, 1994), and La Haine (Mathieu Kassovitz, 1995).
La Haine will screen prior to the film talk on February 6, 2023 at SIFF Uptown.
