Seattle Turkish Film Festival

In its 11th year, the Seattle Turkish Film Festival (STFF) will bring the Seattle audience together with the most distinguished films and directors of Turkish cinema. This year’s festival includes award-winning feature-length narrative and documentary films, short-length narrative and documentaries, and two cult-classic “fantastik” films from the vaults of 1970s-80s Turkish cult cinema that is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Highlights for STFF2023 include:
- A package gala film event at SIFF Cinema Uptown with a screening of Black Night (filmmaker in attendance), followed by a “see and be seen” gala party at MoPOP featuring hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and KEXP DJ Darek Mazzone where you will be able to walk galleries and dance the night away.
- Seattle premiere of Cannes Film Festival award-winning film About Dry Grasses by legendary filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
- Late night cult-classic screenings from the vaults of Turkish cult cinema, featuring Şeytan (aka The Turkish Exorcist) and The Man Who Saved the World (aka Turkish Star Wars).
All film screenings will take place on November 17-19th, 2023, at SIFF Cinema Uptown. The gala party take place at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) following the gala film screening at SIFF Cinema Uptown.
