The Seattle Film Critics Society (SFCS) presented Kyle MacLachlan the 2024 John Hartl Pacific Northwest Spotlight Award, followed by a screening of The Hidden (1987) and a post-film discussion.

The building where SIFF Cinema Egyptian is housed experienced a significant pipe leak on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. As a result, there is damage to multiple floors of the building and the theater will be closed for the foreseeable future.
